son of sick

one of my favorite artists ever is "here comes the gut wagon" i could go on for a while about him, and the shock, and deaf row records, and blah blah blah. nobody cares what i have to say. here comes the gut wagon is coming back to el paso and playing with the dozal brothers and randy's project sever the head. headlining is boston's prince rama of ayodha and lord jeff. its gonna be fun on a bun. (futurama joke) whatever. he's artt...

here is the 1st version of the flyer, i spent a whole night coloring out the letters and preparing things. i knew i was gonna invert the flyer at the end so i used colors that i knew would look nice inverted. i even drafted up a chart showing what turns to what. the words on this felt to big, like i wouldn't have room for a weird drawing so i scrapped it.

i rethought the concept and made the lettering smaller.

i thought a drippy brain would look cool. i added some intestiny things and of course it needs eye balls and teeth. i wish i would of taken more time with the shapes, they feel cheap to me.

like i said it was meant to be inverted. all the colors were picked for that purpose. i wish the light blue stuck out more, it was too light. so when it was inverted it was too dark. but its ok, it came out good and everyone seems to like it. who likes it? the dozal brothers said it was good, randy said it was good, and even prince rama said it was good! Badasss town.
