been bussy... but never to busy for you baby.... ..... hahaha... here is a sticker i drew for bat/caves, one of my favorite local bf/gf-band-duos.... bat/caves is mike and leslie... there's more info about them.. but here it from them! anyways here's the sticker thing i made for em..

designing for them was very hard... because there was no reference material and they didn't give me an idea to what it was they were after. usually i have some idea as to what a band wants... but in this case, i was left to my own devices... so i did my best to convey something fun and colorful and random... i really like the way that squiggles change color over the polyhedron... but the color scheme isn't my favorite... here's the squiggle as i made it initially... with the colors that i originally had in mind...

pink on yellow is just an awesome color combination to me...

i had originally made the words in a different color... 

and i wanted to see how they would blend... but nothing really came out the way i wanted... so i mixed and matched until i got the final product.... if they did make stickers and i get a hold of one... i'll post a pic of it too...

more stuffs real soon... i'm working a design for mickey mickey rourke (miller from neon navajo's solo stuff) he didn't ask me to, but his stuff is chill... and it seems like the perfect music to accompany an idea i had... i'm almost finished with that one... once its done i'll post it up here of course... i also did another flyer for a show coming up... that's done and ready... so when i have time i'll post it as well... yo.... my art blogg is on facebook  so if yr on there add it up yo (nobody reads this) hahahahahaha.... i'd upload pics there... but my pc machine is pretty sucky... whatever.. i've been talking too much... check back later for more arts...

fun fun fun fest is this thing in austin with a bunch of bands... you know.. a fest... ... well they did a facebook contest for art submissions... and i'll take any opportunity to submit art for things... because i like artt... honestly i suck... and i turned this thing in two days past deadline... and it didn't live up to my original idea... and i don't think anyone noticed... ......................... sigh.... but whatever... good practice i guess for future art stuff making... here's the final product!

my original drawing had the multicolored cloud thing filled with a band playing... but i couldn't get the sketch right in time... the fun fun fun idea was my quick fix.. though it didn't come out perfect... then again.. what does? here's the original city drawing no effects addded.. all on graph paper.. because it was way easier that way..

back last year ham asked me to do a drawing for a zine he was making about god. unfortunately he never got around to making it... which is understandable... im having the same issues! but regardless here is the drawing i plannned on submitting.

i also wrote a little prose on the concept of god and how that has (and will continue to) change over time... here's the drawing as it would of appeared in the zine..

then there's this thing... this is a us postal mail sticker thing and a drawing i did on it... gonna post it somewhere and post the pic... but here ya go...

and lastly here's a mini one page comic i made today.. me and skippellina were bored making jokes about chickens and screaming inside of stores that we needed somewhere to lay our eggs and i came up with this idea... NOW LOOK!!!!! i know i know i know!!!! it wasn't only until it was half finished that i realized i stole it michael deforge... sorry! totally my bad! but still, doesn't mean you can't enjoy it... it just means i'm an asshole and i'm guilty of plagiarism..... whatever here's the comic.... HE ATE THE CHICKEN...

she thought it was monsterry....

early morning are the only time i get anything done. as much as i say what a pathetic loser i am, i'm actually busy sometimes. i guess i'm just very self deprecating... .... but early mornings are the only time i ever get anything done. and the problem with that is i get very weary and hopeless late at night. i start second guessing decisions and start scrapping and redoing artwork. regardless.... regardless...

this was a submission to hyperchalice 4 a monster zine put out by michaela zacchilli. anyone could submit so i did. on the blog it said "if i am not into your submission i probably won't reply to your email to avoid awkward formalities" so in my email i wrote "if you don't like just tell me no, i won't ask questions, but i'd like the kindness." NOPE... never got a response or nothing... now their are some really bad ass artists on there (like michael deforge) so i understand my pathetic ass not being picked... but c'mon. just tell me no... regardless... regardless... this was a monster that i drew kinda bulbousy like the "meats" drawing everyone likes and still having dripping guts and such. i think i overdid the sexuality on this one though, what made "meats" interesting in my opinion was how it had a hint of perversion. but still, laser eyes said it was a good monster? anybody?

i was going to stay up all night and redo the neon navajo flyer (currently in its 3rd conception) but if i do i'm going to end up smoking my entire pack of cigarettes to settle my nerves. really, yay cigarettes. i have a "of montreal" song stuck in my head and i need to go to sleep to wash my memories out.

this is a submission for an upcoming zine questioning humanity. while researching the topic an interesting question came to mind... does the existence of ghosts also mark the existence of god? this image is simplification of the final product, but i thought it was important to note. the entire thought process occurred while i was fucking "gone" so there is a possibility that my thoughts are completely dumb.
